  • February 4th Magic Trees is a Saskatoon based band, consisting of two couples and will be performing a selection of Classic Rock and songs from the 70's at Bobby's Place in Moose Jaw during the Scotch tasting on Saturday, February 4th.   • February 15 CineView Saskatchewan presents "A Dangerous Method", a brooding tale of dark desire and the dread that lurks behind genius, experienced by intellectual misfits in conventional society. Veteran Canadian director David Cronenberg (Eastern Promises, A History of Violence) brings these recognizable obsessions to a new genre: the historical period piece. A Dangerous Method is an extremely controlled film tackling a period of time in history when explanations about the human psyche were questioned in drastically new ways. Starring Michael Fassbender, Viggo Mortensen and Keira Knightly. Showtime is 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at the Galaxy Theatre. Season Passes will still be available.

  • February 23 Wakamow Valley is having our 2nd annual "Shake Off the Winter Blues" Night proudly presented by Casino Moose Jaw. This event will take place Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Sportsman Centre (276 Home St. E., Moose Jaw). We are excited to present the line-up featuring Kirby Sewell Band, Boogie Patrol and Jack Semple which will help "shake off your winter blues!". Tickets are $50.00/person and include supper and all three (3) entertainers.
